To qualify for NCyTE Center membership, institutions of higher education must have regional accreditation from one of the accrediting agencies recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the U.S. Department of Education. Applicants need to receive authorization to join NCyTE Center on behalf of your institution from a Dean or higher level administrator.

Responsibilities of NCyTE Center Membership for Educational Institutions

• Submit a completed Higher Education Membership Application
  
• Identify an institutional representative
• Attend monthly Member Webinars virtually
• Participate in NCyTE Center dissemination activities and events
• Share cybersecurity education ideas and programs for dissemination and collaboration with other NCyTE Center member institutions
• Contribute to the growth and strengthening of the local cybersecurity workforce

Applicants need to receive authorization to join NCyTE Center on behalf of your institution from a Vice Principal or higher level administrator.

• Assistance with the preparation of articulation agreements between educational institutions
• Assistance with participation in CyberPatriot and other competitions

Responsibilities of NCyTE Center Membership for High Schools

• Identify an institutional representative
• Attend consortium meetings electronically or in person
• Participate as much as possible in NCyTE Center activities.
