One of NCyTE Center's goals has been to create a replicable national model for effective student internships in the cybersecurity industry. Download a 20-page internship guide authored by Anna Carlin, CISA, for the NCyTE Center, developed for use by students, employers, faculty members, and worksite supervisors, to make internships a positive experience for all involved.

Ms. Carlin is a full-time Computer Information Systems (CIS) instructor at Fullerton College, a two-year college in Southern California. She accepted the position after years of teaching classes at Cal Poly Pomona on IT audit, cybersecurity, and computer forensics. While at Cal Poly Pomona, she led the internship efforts for the CIS department, and she has been able to adapt the Cal Poly Pomona model for use at Fullerton College.
