This portion of the workshop covers the details about program development, as well as assistance for creating your application. It also covers the overall PoS and CAE application process.

 

The 3rd part of this workshop covers how to use the tool that used to apply for the CAE Program. This covers: how to navigate the tool, how to assign users to the tool, and actually starting your application.

Application (Part 1)

Part 1 covers: The Cybersecurity PoS offered by the institution, the NICE Framework crosswalk alignment, Course Syllabi and Courses requiring Applied Lab Exercises, Curriculum Map and Plan with Assessment Documentation, the KU Alignment, and graduation.

 

Program of Study Application (Part 2)

Part 2 covers: Student enrollment/graduation in the PoS(s), sample student certificate/notation on transcript/official letter, students' work products (papers, assignments, labs, etc.), and students' participation in Extracurricular Activities.

 

Program of Study Application (Part 3)

Part 3 covers: Cyber Program(s) of Study POC and Alternate POC, Full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty members, alongside faculty qualifications/CV/resume, faculty support of enrolled student, and process of faculty promotion or reappointment. 

 

Program of Study Application (Part 4)

Part 4 covers: Continuous Improvement plans, the Continuous Improvement process, and what a regular evaluation schedule might look like.
