Who Should Attend:

The Cybersecurity Across Disciplines (CyAD) Conference is a unique event designed to serve educators in various fields to explore the intersection of cybersecurity within their specific educational program areas and the industries they serve. This conference brings together community and technical college faculty from diverse disciplines to address cybersecurity concerns in all business and all critical infrastructure sectors including but not limited to manufacturing, healthcare, retail, engineering, and banking and finance. Industry operational technology owners and operators from all critical infrastructure sectors are encouraged to attend and leverage this opportunity to engage with academia about their unique sector disciplines and cybersecurity needs. “CyAD…where academia and industry meet for advancing cybersecurity curriculum development.”

About the Conference:

Attendees will receive a basic introduction to cybersecurity training and have the opportunity to participate in breakout workshops that review critical aspects of cybersecurity in the context of their discipline. Workshops will be held on topics such as manufacturing and automation, critical infrastructure, business, healthcare and life sciences, automotive and autonomous systems, and other topics that are submitted through a call for proposals. Customized training, case studies, and scenarios will be provided for each discipline.

In addition to the workshops, there will be demonstrations of resources and tools that attendees can use to improve their cybersecurity practices. This is a great opportunity to network with other faculty members from different disciplines and learn from experts in the field.
