2023 Analysts’ Open House: An Electric Vehicle (EV) Security Symposium

 1-2 November 2023 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. (EDT)

With the increased adoption of EVs as part of vehicle fleets across the country, there is a growing need for the private sector and U.S. Government to collaborate and better understand emerging trends, opportunities, and threats related to fleet electrification. This event is intended to facilitate information sharing and the bilateral exchange of subject matter expertise regarding the security issues surrounding EV development and its incorporation into critical manufacturing facilities, transportation systems, and the Nation’s electric grid.
This two-day webinar will feature a variety of speakers and the following topic discussions:

• Welcome and opening remarks from the FBI and the Operational Technology Division
• Briefing on the current EV threat landscape by the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC)
• Keynote Speaker from the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation
• Roundtable discussion on Mapping the Transition to EV Fleets
• Presentations on Building a Resilient EV Supply Chain from the Department of Homeland Security and FBI
• Securing the EV Lifecycle through Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments
• Briefings on Building a Secure EV Charging Ecosystem

Hosted by the FBI’s Automotive Sector Specific Working Group, which includes representatives from across the FBI Enterprise, U.S. Government agencies, and key private sector partners from the Auto-ISAC, the Domestic Security Alliance Council, and InfraGard.
