Location:

Who Should Attend:

Cybersecurity and/or IT related faculty from regionally accredited tribal community colleges and tribal universities that offer associate degree programs and are interested in collaborating with other tribal colleges and universities to build and enhance cybersecurity education at their institutions.

About the Program:

Participants will kick-off the community of practice by attending a 3-hour workshop held at the 2023 AISES National Conference in Spokane, WA in October. The Kick-Off event will provide an overview of the Community of Practice Circle and will outline expectations for future meetings. The workshop will provide a platform to explore funding opportunities and services that can enhance classroom instruction and/or assist in developing cyber programs at your institution.

This will be followed by the Community of Practice Circle, which is five virtual meetings scheduled between November 2023 through June 2024. The community decides their own structure and solutions to meet the needs of the individual colleges and universities. Engage in discussions, share best practices, and collaborate with colleagues from other tribal colleges.

Registration is required for the Tribal Community of Practice Kick-Off meeting.  Please register by September 15, 2023.
